When shipping a car, you'll encounter two primary service models: Door-to-Door and Terminal-to-Terminal. Each has its place depending on your location and priorities.

1. Door-to-Door Service

This is the most convenient option. The carrier picks up the car from your home and delivers it to your new address. It's ideal for those with busy schedules or those living in major cities.

2. Terminal-to-Terminal Service

You drop your car off at a designated warehouse (terminal) and pick it up from another terminal at the destination. This is often cheaper but requires more effort from the customer.

3. Accessibility Challenges

Sometimes, large carriers cannot enter narrow residential lanes. In these cases, even for door-to-door service, a smaller 'recovery' truck may be used for the first/last mile.
