Moving During the Monsoon: Precautions and Tips

Moving during the Indian monsoon requires extra layers of protection—literally. Rain can ruin electronics, swell wooden furniture, and make roads treacherous.

1. Waterproof Packing

Standard corrugated sheets aren't enough. We use heavy-duty plastic stretch film over all boxes and furniture to create a water-tight seal.

2. Covered Carriers Only

During the monsoon, we exclusively recommend closed-body trucks for household goods and enclosed carriers for cars to ensure zero exposure to rain.

3. Timing the Weather

We keep a close eye on weather forecasts and try to time the loading/unloading during 'dry windows', although this requires flexibility from the customer.
